Photographers are generally only concerned about one thing: creating spectacular pictures, even if they have to cheat a bit to get the picture.
Tulips and Monarchs have nothing in common. Tulips are not a host or nectar plant. So how did the photographer get this shot? Two possible answers.
A. Scan in a picture of a Monarch butterfly and then just paste it into the tulip picture.
B. Put a Monarch butterfly into the refrigerator until it is sufficiently cold and then bring it out and place it on the group of tulips.
Either way, it's a fake picture.
